Refund & Cancellation Policy

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: We want you to try Lidbendy risk-free. If Lidbendy is not compatible with your Mac hardware, experiences technical issues, or does not meet your expectations, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Please note that a standard $1.00 payment processor and transaction handling fee is deducted from the refund payout (e.g., $2.99 original price − $1.00 processing fee = $1.99 net refund credited back to your original payment method).

1. Eligibility for Refunds

You are eligible to receive a 100% refund after removing the processing fee if:

You purchased a Lidbendy license within the past 14 calendar days; and
You request a refund by emailing our support team with your order reference or checkout email.

Common reasons for refunds include hardware incompatibility (e.g., Mac model without an integrated lid angle sensor or macOS version earlier than Sonoma), performance issues, or accidental duplicate purchases.

2. How to Request a Refund

Requesting a refund is simple and takes just an email:

Include the email address you entered during Dodo Payments checkout or your Dodo order reference (found in your email receipt).
(Optional) Briefly let us know why it did not work for you so we can improve future releases.

3. Payment Processing Fee & Refund Calculation

All customer transactions on Lidbendy are fulfilled via our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments. Because payment gateways and banking networks charge non-refundable interchange and processing costs upon initial transaction, a fixed $1.00 USD processing fee is deducted from the refunded payout:

Payment Processing & Gateway Fee:-$1.00

Net Refund Amount Credited:$1.99

The remaining balance ($1.99 USD) will be credited directly back to the original card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or bank account used at checkout.

4. Processing & Payout Timeline

Once we receive your email, our team will review and approve your refund request within 24 to 48 hours.

Refunds are processed automatically through our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments, directly to your original payment method (credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or bank transfer). Depending on your financial institution, the credited funds typically reflect in your account within 3 to 7 business days.

5. License Deactivation

Upon issuance of a refund, the license key associated with your purchase will be revoked and will no longer activate or authorize new updates on your Mac devices. You should uninstall LidBendy.dmg from your Applications folder upon receiving your refund confirmation.

6. Subscription Cancellation Notice

Lidbendy is sold strictly as a one-time payment of $2.99. There are no recurring monthly or annual billing fees, hidden subscriptions, or automatic renewals. Because there is no recurring subscription, there is nothing you need to cancel to avoid future charges.

7. Chargebacks and Billing Assistance

If you notice an unfamiliar charge on your bank statement labeled “Dodo Payments” or “Lidbendy,” please reach out to us at hukambuild@gmail.com before filing a dispute with your bank. We are always happy to clarify your order details or issue an immediate refund without delay.
