Terms of Service

1. Overview and Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase, access, and use of Lidbendy (“Software” or “Application”), an indie macOS software application. By downloading, purchasing, or running Lidbendy, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase, install, or use the Software.

2. License Grant & Scope

Upon payment of the applicable one-time purchase fee ($2.99 USD or localized equivalent), Lidbendy grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable (except as expressly permitted), worldwide, perpetual license to:

• Download, install, and execute the Application binary (LidBendy.dmg);
• Activate the Software on up to three (3) personal Mac devices owned or directly controlled by you.

This is a license purchase, not a sale of the underlying source code or intellectual property. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Lidbendy.

3. Hardware & System Requirements

Lidbendy utilizes native Apple Silicon sensors and Metal graphics acceleration. To run Lidbendy, you are responsible for providing compatible hardware and software:

• An Apple silicon MacBook (M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max series);
• macOS 14 Sonoma, macOS 15 Sequoia, or later;
• macOS Screen Recording permissions granted in System Settings to allow real-time desktop capture and rendering.

4. Delivery & Fulfillment

Lidbendy is a 100% digital product. Following completion of your checkout via Dodo Payments:

• You are immediately redirected to your order confirmation page containing an instant download link to LidBendy.dmg and your unique license key;
• A backup receipt with your license key and download instructions is dispatched to the email address provided during checkout.

5. Restrictions on Use

You agree not to, and will not permit any third party to:

• Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of Lidbendy;
• Circumvent, modify, or disable the license validation mechanism;
• Publish, sublicense, rent, lease, or publicly redistribute your license key or the proprietary application binary;
• Use the software in any manner that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws.

6. Payments, Taxes & Merchant of Record

All payments, billing security, and tax compliance (including VAT, sales tax, or GST) are processed securely through Dodo Payments. You authorize Dodo Payments to charge your designated payment method for the total amount displayed at checkout.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

We stand behind Lidbendy. If you experience technical incompatibility or are unsatisfied with the software, please refer to our Refund Policy. Eligible purchases may be refunded within 14 days of purchase by contacting us.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Lidbendy is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the functions contained in the Software will meet all specific requirements or that operation will be completely error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Lidbendy or its developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software. In all circumstances, total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the Software license.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or replace these Terms at any time. Any changes will be published directly to this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Software after modifications constitutes your agreement to the revised Terms.
